A bespoke, custom designed helmet is your signature on the track. Your helmet is what identifies you, it's what separates you from the crowd. Your helmet can be a piece of art and it can also be your brand. A JLF Designs helmet can be anything you can imagine, from basic shapes and colours to elaborate airbrushed paintings, all hand-painted by our small but highly skilled team.

 

From your initial contact we will discuss with you your thoughts and ideas and begin the process of turning them into reality. We offer a highly detailed computer design service that will help provide a visual, multi-angled 2D representation of your helmet before it goes to paint, so that you can be assured and confident that we deliver on your expectations. We use computer templates from all the major helmet brands such as Arai, Bell, Stilo and Shoei, and if we don't have your helmet we can draw it up!

 

The paint process starts with the helmet being stripped and thoroughly prepared, before the design is marked out by hand and the paint layers built up one step at a time. Finally the helmet is finished with a two-stage lacquer system which is smooth, tough and optically clear, allowing the colours to come to life.
